Howard Watson Nature Trail Closure Delayed

By City Staff

Phase two of the City’s plan to eradicate phragmites along the Howard Watson Nature Trail has been rescheduled to August 9, 2017. It was previously scheduled for August 5, but cancelled due to high winds. The trail, between Retford Avenue and Exmouth Street, will be closed at 9:00 a.m. on August 9, 2017 and will reopen on Friday, August 11, 2017. This closure is weather dependant; updates will be provided if required.

Members of the public are asked to keep out of this area for their safety. Signage has been posted and a spotter will be on site for protection of pedestrians who inadvertently enter the trail near the work zone.
