More specifically, the applicant has proposed the following amendments to the Official Plan and Zoning By-law:

  1. Amend the Official Plan by adding a site-specific policy that would permit the creation of a land-locked industrial lot without a connection to the City’s sanitary sewers.
  2. Amend Zoning By-law 85 of 2002 by changing the zoning of lands from “Heavy Industrial 1 (HI1)” to a site-specific “Heavy Industrial 1-3 (HI1-3)” zone that would permit a new industrial parcel that does not have frontage onto a public street.

A planning justification report has been submitted as part of this application and is available at:  https://planning.smartsarnia.com/planning-applications/.
