Home Escape Planning


Having an escape plan for your home that the members of your household know and periodically practice is a very effective tool for reducing instances of injury and death in residential fires.

The video above is a stark reminder of how quickly fire can spread, the importance of having a plan of escape and practicing it with family members, and the importance of having operational early warning devices such as smoke alarms to ensure you have time to escape a potentially fatal fire.
