Property Standards By-law Review

Property Standards By-law Review

Looking for input and comments on new Property Standards By-law.

As part of our commitment to review and update municipal by-laws the Planning and Building Department has undertaken a full review of Property Standards By-Law (67 of 2005). Upon completion of this review staff drafted a new Property Standards By-law for public input.

Draft Property Standards By-law

A Property Standards By-Law sets out the minimum standards for building maintenance within the City. Standards prescribed in this By-Law are intended to outline what is considered as reasonable maintenance and upkeep of buildings and properties.

If you have questions or comments please feel free to forward them to building@sarnia.ca.
