Sarnia Arena Revitalization Project

sarnia arena concept

Goal: $491,667                        Total raised: $200,000 (approx.)

sarnia arenaOriginally built in the 1940s, the Sarnia Arena has served as a community skating and hockey hub for multiple generations.  Due to the age of the facility, many elements require improvements for the safety and comfort of arena users.

Sarnia Arena project improvements will be based on revitalizing the historical elements of the facility and improving the experience of the users while exceeding accessibility standards, and improving energy efficiency. Façade and exterior repairs, lobby and concession improvements, barrier free access to washrooms and change room upgrades are planned for this project.

Construction is currently underway and the first phase of the project is set to be completed by May 2018. Further improvements and enhancements will continue throughout 2018 and 2019.
