Community Parks Clean-Up Day

The City of Sarnia Parks and Recreation Department, in partnership with NOVA Chemicals, presents:

The 5th Annual Community Parks Clean-Up Day
Saturday, April 27th, 2019
10:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

Join us in 2019 to clean up our City parks, trails, boulevards and public spaces!

Through this initiative, which coincides with Earth Week, we ask our community to get outdoors into their neighborhoods and parks.  We invite you, our citizens, community groups/committees, local service clubs, and local organizations to:

  1. Gather and assemble a crew
  2. Identify a park space you wish to clean
  3. Register that site with our Parks and Recreation Department

According to the nation-wide Clean Canada Together initiative, in 2018, the City of Sarnia was one of twenty-three communities (and counting) signed up to spark a Canada-wide conversation on litter control, with over 302,000 people picking up over 621 tonnes of litter! Thank YOU for your contribution!

Stay tuned for more information and to register.
